I watched it on Netflix just the other day. For the first time. It's hard to go to theaters when you have a toddler...

That was one film where the sequel truly lived up to the original, and may have even surpassed it. Toothless is awesome.

Yeah, I'm living the college life, where you cant really afford to go to the movies.
When a night at the movies costs the same as a not terrible fifth it makes it much less enticing.

I remember seeing the midnight premier of the first one in IMAX when it came out, pretty fun movie. Haven't gotten around to seeing the second one yet.

fun fact: my wife and I watched the first one while we were in the hospital after the birth of our son. Its one of the few movies that no matter what mood she's in if you play it she instantly becomes happier

One of the best movies ever. Hands down. All wrong opinions are wrong.

I've recently watched the first movie again and I had forgot how good it was. The second one was good but I think it should have ended with SPOILER BELOW:
If you haven't seen it...
Don't scroll...
Are you sure...
When there was the thing with the boat and the arrows and the "I'm sorry dad." (trying to be as vague as possible here)

Also, I've always wondered how he was able to make the original replacement tail so quickly. The movie made it seem like he finished it in a night. That would have taken me weeks.

Just watched it again the other day when I saw it on netflix. I've seen it a bunch, both are among my favorites. I never expected it to come out on netflix so I bought 1 and 2 on Google Play. Now I can watch them ANYWHERE

This. This one wins. Everyone go home, this guy won the internets.

But in essence it's still a kids show, so it's got to end on a high note. My wife refuses to watch the movie with me past that point because it upsets her.

That is very true. I think the third movie needs to be even more depressing but that would make all of the parents angry
